Populated by the descendants of enslaved pearl divers, the locals are resilient, friendly and welome visitors. Remember to ask if they have any natural pearls to sell.
Try local foods
Eat like a local, fish fresh from the sea! Or enjoy the local lobster, oysters, shrimp, and coconut rice… Enjoy a coconut fresh from the hundreds of palm trees lining the beaches!
